1. Introduction and commitment
GAMEHUB LIMITED and Kamasense Limited, which operate the website 1kamas.com (together hereinafter “the Company”), prohibit the use of their services for money laundering, the financing of illicit activities or fraud. This policy describes the preventive measures applied to all orders placed on the website, in addition to our Terms and Conditions.
2. Reference framework
The Company relies on international anti-money laundering standards, in particular the recommendations of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), as well as on the requirements of its payment providers. It cooperates with the competent authorities where required by law.
3. Transaction monitoring
Orders are subject to automated checks, supplemented by manual review where necessary. In particular, they are compared against usual purchasing behaviour: amounts, frequency, payment method and consistency of the information provided. The Company may adjust its limits at any time and suspend an order while a check is carried out.
4. Risk indicators
The following, among others, may trigger a check: inconsistent or unverifiable information; multiple or split payments for the same order; amounts that are unusual given the account's history; the use of several accounts by the same person; a payment method with no apparent link to the buyer; or a connection from a country considered to be high risk. This list is not exhaustive.
5. Identity verification (KYC)
Identity verification is only requested when an order or an account is flagged as presenting a risk. It is carried out by our specialist partner Didit, on its secure interface: you submit your identity document for verification by following the steps shown, in just a few minutes.
The Company neither receives nor keeps your documents: only the result of the verification is sent to it. If you do not respond within 7 days, or if you refuse the verification, the order is cancelled and refunded in full, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions and our Refund Policy.
6. Verification data
Documents submitted during a verification are processed directly by Didit, in accordance with its own privacy policy. The Company keeps only the verification status, linked to the order concerned, for the fraud prevention purposes described in our Privacy Policy. This information is never sold or shared, except where required by law.
7. Monitoring of suppliers and of the origin of virtual goods
In addition to the checks applied to customer payments, the Company applies risk-based checks to the transactions through which it acquires virtual goods from its suppliers. The factors reviewed may include, in particular, the characteristics of the transaction, the supplier's history, delivery information, the frequency and volume of transactions, and any previous inconsistencies or incidents.
Where a risk of fraud, account compromise or illegitimate origin is identified, additional information or supporting documents may be requested before the supplier transaction is accepted or settled, and settlement may be deferred while the review is carried out.
The identity verification described in Articles 5 and 6 applies to buyers. Suppliers are covered by the Supplier and Virtual Goods Origin Verification Policy and the Acceptable Use Policy.
8. The Company's rights
The Company reserves the right to suspend, refuse or cancel any order presenting a risk, to suspend or close an account concerned, to refuse future orders and to report suspicious activity to the competent authorities. It complies with the applicable international sanctions regimes.
