Legal transition. 1Kamas is currently being migrated from Kamasense Limited to GAMEHUB LIMITED, Hong Kong. Until the effective date of the migration, Kamasense Limited remains the data controller for the processing described in this Privacy Policy. Learn more: Legal information.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how the website 1kamas.com, operated by GAMEHUB LIMITED (whose registered address is Unit 2A, 17/F Glenealy Tower, No. 1 Glenealy, Central, Hong Kong) and by Kamasense Limited (whose registered office is at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom; hereinafter “the Company” or “1Kamas”), collects, uses and protects your personal data. It applies to the entire website, the ordering process and our support channels.

Personal data means any information that can identify you directly or indirectly. The Company undertakes to collect only the data necessary for the service to operate, and to process it in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the legislation of the United Kingdom.

2. Data we collect

Customer account. When you create an account: your name, email address and login credentials, and, if you provide them, your billing address and phone number.

Orders and in-game delivery. To deliver your kamas: the game concerned, the server, your character name, the amount ordered and your order history. This information is used only to fulfil and track your orders.

Payment. Payment is processed by our payment provider on its own secure page. The Company never sees and never stores your card number: it only receives the payment confirmation and a transaction ID.

Support and chat. When you contact us by form, email or live chat: the content of your messages, your email address and, where applicable, your order number.

Newsletter. If you subscribe: your email address, used only for our communications (promotions, news). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email.

Browsing. Standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) as well as preferences stored locally on your device: cart contents, display theme and consent choices.

Identity verification (KYC). Where activity is flagged as suspicious, identity verification may be requested. It is carried out directly by our specialist provider (Didit): the Company neither receives nor stores your documents, only the result of the verification. See our AML Policy.

Sale requests (suppliers). When you offer us kamas through the Sell Kamas page: game, server, quantity, character name, email, contact method and contact ID, preferred payment method and any message, together with your declaration of ownership and legitimate acquisition, its date and the version of the policies accepted. In the event of enhanced verification, the explanations and supporting documents you send us.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Performance of the contract. Processing your orders, delivering kamas in the game, managing your customer account and providing support.

Legitimate interest. Preventing fraud (in particular the payment checks described in our Terms and Conditions), keeping the website secure, improving our services and producing internal statistics.

Consent. Sending you the newsletter and placing audience measurement or advertising cookies. You can withdraw this consent at any time.

Legal obligation. Retaining accounting records and responding to requests from the authorities where required by law.

Verifying the origin of virtual goods. Reviewing sale requests, taking reasonable steps to verify the ownership and legitimate acquisition of the kamas offered, preventing fraud and handling disputes with suppliers. Legal basis: the Company's legitimate interest and compliance with its obligations towards its payment providers.

4. Retention periods

Your account data is kept for as long as the account is active, and deleted on request. Order data and billing records are kept for 6 years, in line with UK accounting and tax obligations. Support conversations are kept for 12 months after the request is closed. Your newsletter email address is kept until you unsubscribe. Audience measurement data is kept for a maximum of 14 months. The result of an identity verification is kept with the data of the order concerned; the documents themselves are processed by our verification provider and are never stored by the Company. Supplier sale requests, together with the associated declaration and any supporting documents, are kept for the duration of the relationship and then for five years, for the purposes of fraud prevention and dispute handling.

5. Data sharing and service providers

Your data is never sold or rented. It is shared only with the service providers strictly necessary for the service to operate, who act as processors on the Company's behalf: the payment provider (secure transaction processing), the identity verification provider (Didit, in the event of a KYC check), the live chat tool (LiveChat), the review widget (Trustpilot), the website host and, only with your consent, audience measurement and advertising tools (Google, Microsoft) when they are enabled.

Apart from these providers, your purchase data is not disclosed to anyone: neither to the game publisher nor to any other third party. Your information may, however, be disclosed to the competent authorities where required by law.

Information relating to sale requests may be shared with the providers used to pay suppliers and, where they require it as part of their compliance checks, with our payment providers. See our Supplier Verification Policy.

6. International transfers

Kamasense Limited, the data controller, is established in the United Kingdom. Data relating to customers in the European Union may therefore be transferred to the United Kingdom, which benefits from an adequacy decision of the European Commission. Where a provider processes data outside the European Union or the United Kingdom, appropriate safeguards are put in place, in particular the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

Essential cookies and storage. Necessary for the website to work: login session, cart contents, display theme and recording your consent choices. They do not require consent.

Audience measurement and advertising. These cookies are only placed after you have given your consent through the consent banner. You can refuse them without being prevented from using the website, and you can change your choice at any time.

Third-party cookies. Some embedded services (live chat, review widget) may place their own cookies, which are governed by the privacy policies of their providers. You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights over your data: the right of access; the right to rectification; the right to erasure; the right to restriction of processing; the right to object; the right to data portability; the right to withdraw your consent at any time; and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular the CNIL in France or the ICO in the United Kingdom.

To exercise these rights, write to us at [email protected]. We respond within a maximum of 30 days; we may ask you to verify your identity in order to protect your data.

9. Security

The Company implements appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS), access to data restricted to the people who need it, certified payment providers and no storage whatsoever of card data on our systems. As no system is infallible, we recommend that you use a unique, strong password for your account.

10. Minors

The service is restricted to persons aged 18 or over, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. The Company does not knowingly collect data from minors. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a minor has provided us with data, please contact us: the data will be deleted.

11. Changes

The Company may amend this policy at any time, in particular to reflect changes in the regulations or in our services. The version currently published on this page, with its last updated date at the top of the document, is the version in force; it is your responsibility to consult it regularly.
